First things first, transfer news. Elder Smith and I will be staying for yet another transfer in Canterbury NH! That makes this the fourth transfer for me and the longest time that I have ever been in an area.
Early this week I had a missionary leadership training meeting. It is a special meeting that only happens 2wice a year so it was a pretty big deal. Basically all the district leaders and the zone leaders and the sister training leaders and the assistants to the president in the mission came together to discuss our role and our stewardship. It was a really powerful meeting where we talked a lot a lot of awesome stuff.
I love president Blair because of his abruptness. When talking about our job as district leaders he said something to the effect of: "if you don't feel overwhelmed about this you are either pompous or ignorant or both." He explained that ,like the basic structure of the church, the divine inspiration on how to work in the Lord's vineyard and care for his sheep is carried down from Him through righteous leaders to all of the missionaries in this mission.
It was pretty inspirational and I had a really good...albeit stressful time. I am really grateful for the time that I have been given to serve the Lord in this capacity. For all the wonderful people that I have met and for this gospel.
I love you and hope that you have a great rest of your week.
This gospel is true and brings lasting joy!
